A very rare and hard to find vintage seiko men's automatic chronograph, an early "Proof-proof" speed-timer version, model 6139-7010, in excellent condition overall. What makes it unique is it's original numerical dial, also known as the "military dial speed timer",making it an anomaly amongst the 6139 and 6138 watches (other models tend to have applied markers or hash marks). This watch is a "Speed-timer" model, and as such it has the slightly higher grade 21 jewel 6139 movement. It is a men's large sized watch at 41 mm across not including the crown, x 43 mm lug to lug. Service history unknown. The movement is clean and free of any deterioration. Keeps time, all Chrono functions work, resets to zero with a nice click. Date functions all work. Cosmetically in excellent Condition. Dial Perfect and no scuffs on the crystal, body and bezel. These don't come up very often. Get your hands on one of the most talked about Seiko speed timers.
