Christofle - porcelain vase 'Libellule'
Christofle designed this special vase for the World Exposition of 1889.
The elegant vase with 2 dragonflies embracing the neck was later made in a special edition, this was done between 1900 and 1937.
Much later, the museum of Christofle made another special edition. These vases are always numbered and performed in biscuit, silver plated, or silver.
This vase, in light-green porcelain, has a typical Art Deco color and is most probably made between 1900 and 1937.
The vase is not numbered but it does have the signature of Christofle, see pictures.
