Published by Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge, London, 1905. Publishers’ original dark blue cloth, with gilt lettering and decorative floral designs to fronts and spines. Top edges gilt. Book Dimensions: 15 x 12 and Number of Pages 192, 227 + 4 pages of publishers’ ads in each volume. Condition The two volumes are beautifully bound, designed and illustrated. Very good set with firm bindings. Light wear to boards’ corners and to head and foot of spines. Internally’ in very nice condition. Inner hinges are very good. All pages are tightly held at the gutter. The text and plates are clean and bright (Lovely Set) (Please see pictures).
