NIKKOR F36 - Built for the German market only #ExclusivePhotographersStudio For sale here not just a standard F36 Nikon branded, but the extremely rare Nikkor F36 built for the German Market. Nikon couldn't use its brand in Germany and Austria and sold very few cameras and accessories branded NIKKOR for that market. "Nikkor" marked F36 motor drive is quite rare. To date, there are only 31 known examples, as published in the Nikon Historical Society Journal in June 2007. Mr Uli Koch estimated no more than 800 units of "Nikkor" F36 motor drive were ever produced. While cameras and finders are pretty common, those motors are pretty rare as they were pretty expensive back then. Usually, only pros bought those items, as they could afford them. But those professionally used are worn. Mine is overall in good shape, with minor wearing and full functionality. I can't find any of them for sale today, and when they appear they sold in no time.
