Historical Notes:
Created to accompany a book of poems titled ‘Espriu-Miró’ by Salvador Espriu, this work embodies the words of the poet who was known to write about his homeland of Spain.
With a figure dominating the composition, the emphasis is on the figure featured that is highlighted in bright colors and high relief.
Given Salvador Espriu’s fascination with the human condition and experience, it is a fascinating interpretation of his work by Miró, showcasing his imaginative and mysterious artistic mind.
