Ancient Egyptian terracotta overseer shabt for Tjaynhebuaa. With painted facial details, his left arm bent at the elbow and with left hand grasping his hoe. Right arm alongside his body. Inscription reads: The Osiris, Tjay-n-hbw-Aa, true of voice.
21st dynasty, 1069 BC to 945 BC. 3 inches high.
Ex. old German private collection, said to be purchased @ 20 years ago.

These blue washed pottery shabtis have now lost most of their paint although some paint remains visible.
