1st millennium AD or older .
In good condition. It has been cleaned by hand, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand cutting, carving, grinding . Traces of use and age on its surface .Sandy deposits are still in the deeper lying parts .
Purchased mid 90's in Paris by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
