Notably, some very distinctive vesuvianite crystals were retrieved and here is an excellent specimen from this discovery: you have here a pristine single crystal of vesuvianite, showing a beautiful dark 'chrome green' colour with translucent brown core. The flat quadratic termination is perfect and numerous small faces make for a nice crystallographic model of the species! You can notice at the bottom the clear colour matrix, probably a massive pyroxene. A fine vesuvianite from a single discovery!
