Quarz) is the name of a family of narrow-film (8-mm) amateur filming apparatus (cinema cameras), produced in the 1960-1980s at the Krasnogorsk Mechanical Plant. "Kvarts-2×8S-1" - developed on the basis of the "Kvarts-2M" camera. The frame size has been increased for Super-8 film, the viewfinder has a larger field of view, and the grab has a larger pitch. It is equipped with wide-angle (0.5×) and long-angle (1.9×) afocal attachments with a bayonet mount on the lens.
