- No Reserve Price - This tooth comes from the Parotodus benedeni, also known as the 'false-toothed mako', an extinct shark that is one of the few species of shark teeth that is rare throughout literally the whole world. Though the tooth has some erosion to it's typically thick root, it's blade is flawless and it measures a very decent 48 mm. It was found in the Oligocene of the Chandler Brigde formation in Summerville, South Carolina, USA. Last but not least, as I previously said, this tooth is rare. Very rare.
