A nice and rare antique Chinese porcelain Wanli charger, with a central decoration of a CROW balancing on rocks, surrounded by peonies a sun or moon. Panels with buddhist treasures, swastikas, dots and lines, executed in an excellent underglaze blue and white . In the border a classical decoration of geometrical and floral patterns. Handcrafted in ancient Imperial China during the Ming dynasty, Wanli period (ca. 1580). On the backside a decoration of circles and lines, with a perfect Wanli foot rim. Guaranteed original and of the stated period.
Diameter: 20,6 centimeter
Condition: The object is in overall fair condition, a mouse bite and a hairline and a restored section on the rim. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
