This is the House of Fabergé "The Firebird" music box.
Very, very good condition.
In reality much more beautiful than on the pictures, the gold is difficult to photograph.
The gold is still shining like new.
Ca. 1985.
Marked on the bottom with the 96 House of Fabergé logo.
Music box is in perfect working order.
Made in porcelain, 24 carat gold plated , it is entirely decorated with scenes depicting of the famous ballet piece Tchaikovsky's "The Firebird" .
The inside of the lid and the box have a black velvet inlay.
On the lid is a semi-precious stone embedded.
On bottom side you find the wheel to wind up the box and play the music.
