After graduating from elementary school, he deepened his devotion to literature and applied for magazines such as "Shonen Club" and "Kyoudai shimai" under the pseudonym of Tamaki Terashima, and won many prizes. He went to Tokyo in 1910. He died of his mother in August of the first year of the Taisho era, and from this time he left literature and became a painter. He studied under Kiyokata Kaburagi in the 2nd year of the Taisho era. The following year, he was selected for "Yuzu-yu(柚子湯)" and "Isho-yu(菖蒲湯)" , and won the third prize. "Yunagi" was selected for the first time at the 8th Imperial Exhibition in 1945, and he continued to exhibit at the government exhibition every year.
