Beautifully rich and bold, the colors in this fabric are incredible. Bold yellow, burgundy and green pop against bright white. What vibrance Africa wears!
This is a large cloth; it would make a beautiful wall hanging or bed spread. The strength of this fabric would make it perfect upholstery! Couches, pillows, ottomans, just imagine the look this could make in your house.
This is a man's cloth, which would be worn wrapped around the body sarong-style. The pattern changes on the edges, where it would be most prominent when worn.
Good condition with traces of wear and tear, there is a hole in the middle of the textile, can get easily repaired.
Provenance: Manfred Schäfer collection, ex- gallery owner from Ulm, Germany.
