Lord of the Rings - United Cutlery

DESCRIPTION A Prince of the Elven Kingdom of Mirkwood, Legolas was sent to Rivendell as a messenger and took part in the Council of Elrond, joining the Fellowship of the Ring along with Gandalf, Strider, Boromir, Gimli, and the 4 Hobbits Frodo, Sam Gamgee, Merry & Pippin.Legolas possesses the keen eyesight and sharp ears characteristic of his race and is an expert archer and master with Elven fighting knives, which he carried on his back in scabbards on either side of his quiver. An ancient race of Middle-earth, Elves are noble, elegant and magical beings in harmony with the natural world and its forces. In keeping with this natural harmony, Legolas Fighting Knives have a flowing organic design, are adorned with Elven vine motifs, and the blades feature a very detailed filigree etch. These were known as the White Knives, probably because of the ash wood used for the handles. Set of two. Solid metal guards and pommels, antique metal finish. Solid oak handgrips, Elven vine design. 420 stainless steel blades, deep-etched intaglio design, sharp-edged. Wood display plaque and certificate of authenticity. Fighting Knives of Legolas: Includes a parchment certificate of authenticity. Overall Lengths: 22-3/8" Blade Lengths: 15-3/4" Blade Thickness: 3/16" Blade Material: Tempered, 420 J2 stainless steel, sharp-edged. Deep-etched intaglio design with a gold-tone color.
