This nice black with gold Japanese Samurai armor with and blue silk ropes, was made during the Shōwa period. This armor is life size, wearable and displays nicely! The type of Samurai Armor is called a Otaru Yoroi. This Yoroi is complete with: Dō (cuirass), Kabuto (helmet), shoulder plate, arm guards and leg skirt and shin guards. The armor comes with stand and wooden transport box. The Fukigaeshi, Dō and transport box all bear the mon of the Toyotomi family. The Suneate (shin guards), Kabuto (helmet) and transport box are signed "Made by Satsuma Kunizumi, 11th generation Mitsunobu". Condition: Very good condition, only minor age related wear and discoleration. No damage. Accessories: Armor wooden storage box and Armor stand.
