Ardbeg Heavy Vapors Special Release 2023 is the new whiskey designed by Ardbeg as an Annual Release on the occasion of the classic Ardbeg Day. Every year the LVMH Group of which Ardbeg is a part organizes a day dedicated to Ardbeg, the distillery on the island of Islay which has over two centuries it offers uncompromising whiskey, where the sea meets peat and the multiple nuances of a distillate that has very few equals in the world. In this case Ardbeg Heavy Vapors Special Release 2023 represents an innovation with one less production step, i.e. without involving the Purifier which acts as a filter between the alembic and the condenser, an element considered important to offer elegance and balance. In this case it was decided not to use the Purifier to have an indomitable, uncompromising, powerfully aromatic spirit.
