Yokoyama Ichimu 横山一夢 (1911-2000), he was from Inami-cho, Toyama Prefecture. He was born in a famous family of Iwanami Town, one of the most important wooden sculptures in Japan. While inheriting traditional wood carving techniques, he developed decorative works that used a lot of coloring, and was particularly good at carp, cranes, and other fish, birds, and lion heads.
