The idea of producing a whisky inspired by the essence of the city of Tokyo came from Dr Bill Lumsden, who has always been a great admirer and lover of Japanese gastronomic culture. A Tale of Tokyo is a work of art not only for the palate: the box that contains the bottle of this Glenmorangie whisky depicts the city of Tokyo according to the bird's eye perspective, a technique typical of the artist Yamaguchi Akira. A dense and intricate representation of a city full of contradictions, where past and future alternate in a complex and tangled reality.
