This MAUTHE MONET clock with alarm, is really extraordinary, it is made from a really beautiful burr walnut, with sides covered in 800 silver (visible hallmarks). The handmade base is also in burr walnut, the edge is curled for a touch of elegance. The silver is lovely and has been beautifully tooled. The mechanism works very well, as does the alarm. The dial frame is nickel-plated and perfect, the hour markers and hands are silver-plated.
The clock has no missing or broken parts. There are a few small displacements of the wood, and very slight signs of age and use related wear that one finds with antiques. However, these do not compromise the value, beauty or elegance of the item.
