Small bronze from the early 1900s, Silenus with tripod. Small scale reproduction of a lamp holder from the collection called the 'piccoli bronzi' of the Archaeological Museum in Naples. This collection includes all the bronze objects of common use that characterised daily life in Pompeii and other ancient cities in the Vesuvius area. Base diameter cm 6.5 h cm 15 weight kg 0.38.
