Because of spare parts, this BeoGram 1202 is as new again! The on/off switch has been provided with a new “click” switch, and this works at the slightest touch. The holder has also been replaced for a better one so the long-term operation is ensured. The motor has been revised and directly speeds up, the fork has been repaired and runs smoothly. The machine has been disassembled, cleared of dust and grease, this is necessary for guaranteeing a good turnoff without putting the needle under load or even bending it. Diameter LP and single has been set and the turnoff has been tested on a single, the only right way. Needle pressure is correct. The needle was tested on a scope and is okay. The BeoGram 1202 was the successor of the 1200. It has a beautiful cast iron aluminium chassis, and 1-button operation for all functions. The player weighs no less than 9 kg, due to a robust and vibration-free chassis suspended in steel springs. The drive belt has been replaced, as with all my supplied players. The connection cables are as new, not discoloured as they usually are. The DIN cable is original again with nice, chrome-plated metal plug. The professional adapter cable to cinch is included as well as the manual. This player is good to go for many years of service due to the professional revision. Of course it has very light signs of wear, and this can be since the manufacturing from around 1973. See the photos!
