I am selling this Omega Constellation men's watch with reference number 198.003 that was made in 1971 according to it's serial number. It has a 35,5mm stainless steel case and is on a used leather strap that fits a 19,5cm wrist. I would estimate the overall cosmetic quality to be extremely good for it's age, it actually looks almost unused with sharp edges and polished and brushed surfaces. The watch runs and is keeping time accurately. This watch is still completely original with signed crown, signed glass (Omega sign stamped on the inside), the original leather strap and original steel Omega buckle. The Omega Constellation is the top-range of Omega models, the f300Hz uses a special tuning fork movement, the predecessor to quartz movements. This was based on the Bulova Accutron technology that Omega licensed. The second hand goes around very smoothly and the watch makes a very distinctive humming sound. I promise that you will have a hard time finding a Constellation tuning fork in this condition. The watch will be sent using signed delivery.
