The BeoGram 1700 was the successor of the 1500 and 1902 models. This 1700 is in mint technical condition. I am a former B&O technician and have been working with B&O equipment for 50 years. I have a lot of parts and can deliver top class repairs. See my reviews on Catawiki. The machine has been disassembled, degreased and cleared of dust. This is of great importance, or the player will turn off, but the needle will be loaded to heavily and it will break. The motor has been lightly lubricated and is okay. The belt is new, and also meets the B&O specs from that time. The cartridge is provided with a new elliptically cut solid diamond tip, and meets the specs of an MMC20E, a proven top class cartridge! An MMC20E in after production already costs around €400.-, this is in the original body and looks much nicer! This diamond needle tip was installed by top class German company FJS Tonabnehmersysteme. The LP and single diameters have been adjusted, as well as the speeds of 33 1/3 and 45 rpm. The operation is simple, by means of 4 buttons, everything is electronically driven, so few mechanical parts. Will be sent “worldwide” in professional packaging by insured mail with Track and Trace.
