The Philips 22GF523 is a suitcase gramophone from 1972/1974. It is the mono edition of the Philips 22GF623.
The device plays both on AC as well as on batteries. The rotation speed (33, 45 or 78 rpm) is set with the switch in front of the arm. The volume, the tone and the balance with the sliders to the right of the arm.
An amplifier and a speaker are built in. The device is a suitcase when folded up. The 45 rpm puck is stowed in the lid.
