Large ginger jar with lotus branch decorations, including wooden lid with Chinese character - China - 18th/19th century
A gorgeous large 19th century Chinese porcelain ginger jar dating back to the Qing dynasty (1644-1912). The ginger jar has a rich decoration of various lotus branches, surrounded with lotus root decorations and geometric patterns. The jar has an unglazed foot-rim and upper rim. The ginger jar has an antique wooden lid with a Chinese character on it.
Height: 21 cm (including lid)
Diameter: 19 cm
Condition: the ginger jar is in excellent condition, it is entirely pristine. The wooden lid still fits well, but is a little warped from age. There is a small piece missing from the lid.
Shipping: the lot will be sold without the depicted wooden base, but including wooden lid. It will be packaged with care and shipped insured. If you purchase multiple lots from me in this auction, you will only pay shipping costs once for shipping abroad.
