The grip is of ebonite or hardwood and features a sheath locking mechanism! The crossguard is marked with the number 58 and the blade with the text WAPENMAGAZIJN HAARLEM - HAAG.
Note: This type of sabre has a push-button on the handle - back to extract the sabre from the sheath!
The sabre and sheath are in a beautiful used condition, especially given the age of this sabre!.
