Beautiful antique bread cutter in good condition from the German manufacturer Alexanderwerk, (founded in 1885 by Alexander von der Nahmer. The bread slicer/cutter bread is made from a frame of German cast iron with a forged steel blade, with the original wooden plank on which the bread is placed after which it can be cut. Despite it being nearly 100 years old, it still looks stunning. Everything works smoothly, the blade is still sharp and cuts well. The quality of the wood is excellent, and is marked with typical signs of wear. Looks beautiful in a rural interior or restaurant.
