Delicate and beautiful porcelain sculpture of Eriksen’s famous bronze statue (1913). He is now a major tourist attraction in Denmark. The Little Mermaid is the protagonist of the eponymous fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen.
It is made in soft dimmed shades of beige, cream, green and gray. Signed in the back with Edvard Eriksen Sculp. Marked on the bottom with Royal Copenhagen and numbered with 12723 chiselled and written.
