Nice and very rare fascist officer dagger in aluminium, model 32 of the MVSN, called “eagle beak” or “eagle head”. In excellent condition and with a wonderful patina. Never disassembled, screw of the fasces never removed, item never cleaned or polished, blade and tip in excellent condition, parade sheath with support in great condition. No rust, only a small mark (see photos). In 1937 these daggers were withdrawn and replaced with the new model called “long eagle beak” or “dagger model 37”, and they were disassembled and reused to build the new ones. So this item is much rarer than a normal dagger model 37 (the appearance is the same, only the blade and the sheath are different and longer). The last photo depicts Benito Mussolini, leader of the Fascist party, with an identical dagger at the waist. Length with sheath: 30 cm. Blade length: 16 cm.
