Alpina Büromaschinen-Werk was established in 1949 by
Dr. Otto Rudolf Bovensiepen in Bavarian Kaufbeuren.
In 1951, the first Alpina typewriters came onto the market.
In over ten years Alpina produced about 100,000 typewriters, before production ended around 1965.
This is intact
to the extent that signs of use may be present on the housing - see photos
