Austrian Lorenz cavalry percussion pistol, 1863.
Variant of the Austrian Lorenz cavalry percussion pistol M. 1863 with not normally seen trigger guard / variant.
Barrel marked with R and W, lock with 863 (1863).
Overall good condition with signs of use - the hammer works in "safe and firering position" but needs some cleaning, the lock is missing the safety part for the hammer.
Nice historical weapon, “863” and “864” has provenance to the Civil War (US), where they were contractor guns made specifically for export, to the Civil War.

• Barrel length 26,4 cm.
• Caliber approx 14 mm.
