This mug was commissioned by Franklin Mint and The Waterloo Museum and designed by Royal Doulton Fine English Bon China. This beautiful porcelain tankard is in truly mint condition. The beer tankard is made of porcelain and has a very detailed pewter lid with a carefully crafted pewter cannon. The tankard features images of the Battle of Waterloo and has four portraits of important figures from the battle, including Napoleon. In reality, the tankard is even more beautiful than pictured, it is difficult to photograph. The illustrations around the outside of the tankard are much sharper and clearer and more beautiful in colour. Height closed: 19 cm. Height opened: 25 cm. Diameter: 11.5 cm. Weight: 765 grams.
