Georges Favre-Jacot, founder of the Watchmaker in 1865, believed in the universality of the distribution of the watches he manufactured. The dual-function crown very cleverly moves the movement in the usual direction from left to right. In the other direction, it ensures the power reserve and the alarm. The case is endowed with two adjustment buttons on both sides of the crown. The button on the right allows the setting of the time and the one on the left allows the setting of the alarm time that a counter located at noon can confirm. Several types of dials are known. Those in enamel painted with luminescent radium to be readable at night date from the early 1920s. The second hand is classically located at six o'clock as it is on most pocket watches, so that the dial remains ventilated and the user is in no way bothered when reading the time.
