This replica of a KLM Lockheed L1049 Super Constellation was made around 1960 by the Dutch company Raise-Up, which had specialized in the manufacture of aircraft models. In addition to KLM their clients included Swissair, Lufthansa and Ethiopian Airlines. The Super Constellation by the American manufacturer Lockheed was one of the most successful long-haul aircrafts and in use in Europe for many years. The model in KLM Flying Dutchman livery sits on its original metal stand with the KLM Logo and Lockheed plaque.
The aircraft is marked on the underside ‘MANUFACTURED BY “RAISE UP” ROTTERDAM HOLLAND’. It is in very good condition.
