Sword Cavalry Egyptian Mamluk period Ottoman information (not translated) and Koran marked on the blade and scabbard in Arabic
Date circa 1770-1810
engravings in the first quarter of the blade, handle in onyx (horn) eye of partridge,
scabbard with fast recess, strong blade in carp tongue,
total length of sword 90 cm, blade 74 cm. Scabbard doubled decorated rings. The scabbard is totally decorated and covered with leather
in good condition (visible on the photos) some blows on the scabbard and blade
missing a ring for the bail on the scabbard
