Biography
He attended the Evening and Sunday School of Applied Art in Alessandria, and at the age of fifteen he painted his first paintings. He adheres, as a collaborator, to the national magazine "Realismo" and is a regular at the Turin Promoter of Fine Arts. A lively interpreter of twentieth-century poetics, never tied to any artistic movement, he weaves deep friendships and collaborates with some of the greatest artists and intellectuals of the 20th century, such as: Carlo Carrà, Aligi Sassu, Felice Casorati, Renato Guttuso, Sibilla Aleramo, Mario Luzi and Cesare Pavese, who he often meets in the Via Italia studio in Biella or at the Saletta dell'Orso in Ricetto di Candelo.
