Trench lighter, probably from WW1. Original, well kept and in working condition, with medal of diameter 17 mm and engraved serial number (1828). The patina of the age is preserved. Nice to see in a “militaria” display cabinet or on a desk near a vintage ashtray. You need to add the fuel. The flint works. Condition as per photos. This lighter was probably made in England. It was used in trenches because it hid the flame from snipers. Lighter length 7 cm, chain length 7 cm, medal diameter 17 mm. Chain length 75 mm, weight 47 g.
