In Ancient Egypt the cat was a sacred animal and represented the solar goddess Bastet who represented the gentle and useful heat of the sun, The chief seat of her worship was at Bubastis . One of the most colletable bronze from ancient egypt and very rare to find at an affordable price.
Because of the damages this one is not priced 15 thousand or even 20 thousand but the reserve is much lower. Date: Late Period, 26th - 30th Dynastie 554 - 332 v. Chr.
Size: Height 10,9 cm.

Condition: . The tail partly missing, the feet are missing, the legs re-attached and a small area of restoration on the left cheek
