A very nice and rare Framus 5/54 Riviera with a Framus pickguard and tremolo system. Pickguard is made of metal and has a single coil pickup. The electronics work well, I do not know about the functioning of the flip switch, could be a high/low gain circuit. The year of construction is ca. 1964. Framus built the 5/54 Riviera from the 1950s on. Later, the pickguards became available. The guitar still looks fine, certainly considering the age. Naturally, the guitar has signs of wear, these are very minimal considering the age. - Hollow body in red burst. - Framus headstock. - 2x 3 open gear tuners. - Tremolo system - Pickguard including single coil pickup. - Vintage bridge (height-adjustable). Everything original Framus. I think the bridge is not, but it is from the same era. The bridge is lifted with felt on the bottom. A beautiful quality guitar, complete with pickguard, pickup and tremolo system. Cost 145 DM(€75) in 1958. The photos are part of the auction and show the cosmetic condition.
