Scheurich West-Germany - 花瓶 (5)
Nice lot with five vases by Scheurich (founded in 1928 by A. Scheurich and F. Greulich as a wholesaler, in 1954 they started producing ceramics as Scheurich KG Keramikfabrik). Four of these vases belong to the European line series, intended for export and recognisable by the gold foil label that was used in the first half of the 1960s.
(1) Sleek floor vase (40 cm) with form number 537-40, without label but from the European line series (shown by similar attestations with label)
(2) Conical vase 248-22 (22 cm)
(3) Round-bellied vase 214-21 (21 cm), with European line label
(4-5) Set of vases (20 and 21 cm) with form numbers 275-20 and 274-21, the first certainly after a mold design by Heinz Siery (see image), both with the typical European line gold foil label
