Exclusive antique 19th century scene of saints with holy water font. Beautiful representation of Apostle John with mother Mary. Made of beautiful heavy bisque porcelain / porcelain by Andenne Vieux Bruxelles. 19th century, Belgium. Beautiful pastel colours and gilded finish on the pedestal and the holy water shell. John stands with an arm around Mother Mary and in his other hand he supports Mary's hand. Mary stands melancholically with a hand on her forehead and the other hand on John's hand. At the base of the pedestal, a beautiful gold-coloured porcelain holy water shell rises up. Height = 17 cm WIDTH X LENGTH = 12 X 13.5 cm Height of the two characters = 13 cm Weight 515 grams. Beautiful condition for its age! Behind the two characters in the pedestal there is an opening where there used to be a cross figurine. However, this is no longer present, but this does not affect the whole. Hairline crack or old restoration on the back of the pedestal, tiny and not really noticeable. See the pictures.
