Georges Nagelmackers (1845 – 1905) was the founder of the Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits, the company known for the Orient Express trains. On 12th December 2009, the last Orient express ran from Strasbourg to Vienna. oN 13th December the celebrated name Orient Express disappeared forever from the official European timetables after 126 years.
