This lion sculpture was made in the factory of Carl Scheidig in Gräfental, Germany. This town had many porcelain factories. The lion and lioness are lovely designed and have gorgeous colours. The bottom has the logo of Scheidig, an eagle holding an arrow in its claws and the letters ‘CS’. This red logo was used between 1906 and 1935.
The piece is 22 x 16 x 10 cm.
