Antique gunpowder bottle. 19th century. US A beautiful antique gunpowder container or also called gunpowder bottle, made of copper/brass. The bottle is richly decorated on both sides with various detailed revolutionary and victory attributes and images, beautifully hammered in high relief. At the top image of the eagle with coat of arms with a sun beneath it with two hands pressed together, circled with stars (reconciliation or peace image). On the lower part of the bottle a shield with "US" on it and downright a representation of banners, epees, axe, bayonet, canon and trumpet. Beautiful! The bottle has a valve that can be opened manually so that the gunpowder could not run out. And equipped with two eyes to attach a belt or chain.
