The sewing machine is a shoemaker’s sewing machine. Because of the slender sewing arm, it is particularly suitable for sewing long and narrow parts. E.g. for shoes, boots and bags and the like. The sewing material is transported by the manually 360 degree rotating sewing foot. This always creates a forward seam, which visually results in a consistent seam quality. This is especially important for decorative seams, e.g. on boot shafts.
