I.M. Grassi flute made in Milano with case, 1940's - 长笛
Vintage Ida Maria Grassi Milano flute in case. Numbered 1435 in original felt lined case. Case labelled "Matchetts" the original music store was established by Mr Stanley Matchett in 1936 at 44 Wellington Place. Another label inside for Barnes & Mullins Ltd. Barnes & Mullins are a trade only distributor representing some of the biggest musical brands available. In 1894, Mr Albert Mullins and Mr S. Bowley Barnes started “The Jo”, their famous musical instrument journal.
The flute has some scratches and discolouration in places, otherwise in a good condition, please see the photos, 70 cm long assembled.
