Very nice and decorative wall tile tableau. Mary with infant Jesus image in relief, four pieces of polychrome ceramic tiles. Wooden frame with a partial fabric edge. No marks present, back has old store sticker, with suspension possibility. Dimensions o the whole: 34 x 17.2 x 3 cm. Weight is 615 grams. Dates from the 1950s. Made by: Van Paridon brothers, Amsterdam (is “signed all over”). From 1905 the brothers Pieter, Peter and Hendrik van Paridon had a store in Amsterdam with mostly religious objects. They also had their own studio and increasingly started producing their own religious works. The ceramic tiles are flawless. The wooden frame has some traces of wear.
