1st series from 1988. Pendulum in matt gold and not in shiny gold as is the case with the later models. Only a few hundred of these mantel clocks were made in the first series.
Completely handmade. Designed by Michael Graves. The design of this pendulum clock refers to the long tradition of miniature architecture. This table clock was manufactured from 1988 to 1999 until recall was necessary due to problems in the manufacturing process. A reissue was released in 2013.
Wood veneer casing.
Black lacquered columns.
Completely handmade.
Quartz movement on AA battery.
