This lamp was produced in the 60s, the period that is also referred to as the Space Age era. The contours of an ufo are clearly recognizable in this lamp, while the style features of the art deco are also recognizable. Many well-known designers have inspired the shape of an ufo and mushroom during the same period.
The shade can be aimed in various directions for an optimal range of light. The base and shade are painted matte black, which forms a beautiful combination with the warm gold colour of the stand. The inside of the shade has a light colour, accounting for a beautiful light dispersion. The lamp holder is made of white bakelite. Due to the shape and the use of material, this lamp still has a modernist look. This lamp fits perfectly into every contemporary interior.
